Only 20 minutes from Lake Mburo National Park, Kacheera Camp provides a base for a range of adventure activities. Primarily set up to run educational trips for students of all ages it also is a base for researchers, volunteers and any campers.

Our student trips, which run anywhere from 3 nights and onwards, cover a range of topics and activities. From nature walks to hippo census, community projects to low ropes activities, the camp keeps students engaged and learning in a beautiful and wild environment. Duke of Edinburgh excursions and assessments are also hosted.
The camp’s volunteer programme see’s visitors working on a range of projects from teaching in primary schools to tree planting and developing the camps own eco-friendly projects.
Our camp also provides support and ideas to undergraduate, master and PhD students researching dissertations and thesis’s.
